Future Global Sports is delighted to announce that it has signed a strategic partnership with East African-based agency NextPro Sports to combine player representation and commercial efforts in order to increase each agency's reach and that of their athletes.

Future Global Sports is a fast-growing, international sports management consultancy based in England working with athletes, clubs and brands in the UK and internationally while NextPro Sports is a professional athlete management agency based in Kampala, Uganda, representing athletes from the region.

Key clients for NextPro Sports include Ugandan international Allan Okello, one of African football's biggest young talents, Ivan Sserubiri and Gerald Kirya.

The principle aim of this partnership will be to develop and expand opportunities available for athletes in both continents, including sourcing opportunities for NextPro Sports athletes in all territories outside Africa.

"For the past year we have shared several hugely positive, fruitful conversations with NextPro Sports in order to establish a bridge from Africa to Europe, and in particular the growing East African market," said Jonathan Fadugba, co-founder of Future Global Sports.

"This strategic partnership will see FGS align our recruitment and scouting efforts in both women's and men's football with that of NextPro Sports and share market knowledge in order to help develop and guide the next generation of athletes in Uganda and East Africa more widely, and source pathways into European football for career development."

The two parties will also work towards the development and betterment of football in the region, with a commitment to working to improve the level of African football in three key areas: the playing side, the commercial side and the administrative side.

“This partnership is a step towards our long-term vision as NextPro Sports and we’re committed to working with Future Global Sports for the best interests of our athletes and betterment of the game of football in general” said Sultan Atubo, founder of NextPro Sports.

NextPro Sports and Future Global Sports will jointly represent athletes including Allan Okello and work collaboratively in relation to all income-generating activities, on and off the field.

Eoin McKeown signs with Future Global Sports

eoin mckeown

Future Global Sports is delighted to announce that Eoin McKeown has appointed us to represent him on an exclusive basis.

McKeown, 23, spent four years at SkyBet League Two side Colchester United following a successful trial as a teenager in 2015. A tall, agile striker, McKeown can run in behind as a number 9 or operate as a target man utilising his strong 6ft 2in frame.

Highlights of striker Eoin McKeown in action

McKeown scored on his debut for Colchester in the FA Trophy against Reading in 2017, and had spells at Wealdstone, Maldon and Tiptree, Welwyn Garden City and Kings Langley before leaving the Us in 2019.

The striker is pursuing his education in sports management at Loughborough University but immediately joins National League South side Braintree Town after signing for Future Global Sports, with a firm desire to show his talents and push on back into the professional game.

“I am delighted to be signing with Future Global Sports,” Eoin commented after putting pen to paper. “I feel it’s the right step for me to get back into professional football having seen the track record of players that have progressed under their guidance.”

At Future Global Sports we believe Eoin has unfinished business and the skillset to achieve more and push up the divisions.

At 23 there is a dearth of top strikers at this level - we feel that with consistent hard work, focus and the right guidance Eoin can be one of them.

Welcome to FGS. Future is McKeown!

Cameron Fogerty signs with Future Global Sports

Future Global Sports is delighted to announce that Cameron Fogerty has appointed us to represent him on an exclusive basis.

Fogerty, 18, is one of the most exciting young players in non-league football and has burst onto the scene at Hyde United, becoming an important player for the club and first team regular despite his youthful age.

Fogerty was 17 when he made his debut for Hyde United in the Northern Premier League, step 3 of men’s football, at the start of this season. The talented central midfield player emerged through the club’s academy where he starred in an impressive 2020/21 FA Youth Cup campaign that saw Hyde reach the first round, beating Stockport County before narrowly losing to Tranmere Rovers on penalties.

His performances saw him promoted to the first team where he has made an immediate impact, putting in a string of outstanding performances to win the club’s Player of the Month award for August 2021.

Fogerty has gone on to make 20 appearances for the club so far in 2021/22 despite only turning 18 in August, scoring one goal. He is a tactically astute, mature young midfielder who reads the game well and imposes himself on play. He can operate as a number four, eight or 10.

“Cameron shows great composure for somebody so young as well as being competitive,” says his manager at Hyde, Jim Gannon. “It is not just his tactical awareness, but psychologically. He is as focused in the last minute as the first and that showed me he is mentally strong. What I have seen of him so far, Cameron has a great future ahead of him.”

At Future Global Sports we are excited by Cameron’s ability and impressed by the body of experience he already has at such a young age. With hard work, dedication and desire to improve we feel Cameron can be a player with the potential to climb up the ladder in the years to come.

We look forward to working with Cameron and feel that, together with our support, the sky is the limit. The hard work starts now.

Future is Fogerty!

Future Global Sports clients Joseph Boachie and Wyan Reid have completed moves to National League South competitors Concord Rangers for the 2021/22 season.

Boachie, 23, is a dynamic and exciting forward who starred for Loughborough University and Stamford AFC, where he was named in the 2018/19 Evo-Stik Team of the Season after a string of eye-catching performances.

Joseph’s performances for Stamford saw him invited in to trial with Championship club Birmingham City in 2019, while other Football League clubs also showed concrete interest before injury put paid to Joseph’s progress.

Boachie is an intelligent and creative left-footed attacking midfielder / number 10 with the physicality and athleticism that suits the modern game. He has good vision and technique, and can also play on the left wing or as a striker. Operating between the lines he drops deep and can run at defences or play through balls to open up opponents. He joins Concord Rangers after a successful trial spell.

Reid, 21, is an exciting right-sided wing-back / winger who emerged through the academy at Aveley FC and went on to make more than 56 appearances for the club.

Reid was a key member of the Aveley team that broke records, becoming the first side in the club’s history to reach the FA Trophy quarter finals, a feat which earned them a trip to play Notts County in 2020.

Reid came through Aveley’s double-winning Reserve side in 2018, and was named Reserve Team Player of the season for a string of excellent performances. He broke into the first team that season and made 11 appearances, before taking the number 7 shirt and making it his own in 2019/20 with 40 appearances, 6 goals and 4 assists from wide right.

In total Reid made 56 appearances for Aveley, clocking up 7 goals and 9 assists. A brief spell at Brentwood Town also followed, and Reid makes the step up to the National League South for the first time to join the Beachboys after a series of impressive performances in pre-season.

Both players are young and hungry and will be looking to establish themselves at step 2 this season in what is an exciting Concord Rangers side.

We wish Joseph and Wyan every success this season!
