Future Global Sports client Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong has completed a move to Aldershot Town for the 2021/22 season.

The 24-year-old Grenada international attacking midfielder and former Crystal Palace academy graduate steps up one division back into the Vanarama National League after leaving Dartford FC, where he made 26 appearances, scored 8 goals, won the club’s Goal of the Season award and was named in the Non-League Files’ U23 National League South Team of the Season 2020/21.

Berkeley-Agyepong returns to the Shots after playing for the club between 2018-2020. He is capable of playing in a number of midfield and forward positions and will be looking to add attacking threat to Danny Searle’s side for the 2021/22 Vanarama National League season.

During his previous spell at Aldershot, Berkeley-Agyepong made 52 appearances and scored 5 goals, including the winners against both Boreham Wood at home (February 2020) and local rivals Woking FC in August 2019.

These two goals, along with his goal in the 4-0 victory against Dover Athletic, were put up for Aldershot’s 2019/20 Goal of the Season, and alongside winning Dartford’s Goal of the Season award in 2020/21 shows that the former Palace man is capable of the spectacular.

At Dartford FC Jacob scored 8 goals in 26 appearances and put in a number of outstanding performances to help transform Dartford from a mid-table outfit into league title challengers, before the season was curtailed in February 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This summer Jacob also become a full senior international, representing Grenada at the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

He made his international debut on 13th July in a CONCACAF Gold Cup group match defeat against Honduras before representing his country against Qatar and Panama.

Widely considered one of the best young talents in non-league football, the return to Aldershot Town offers Jacob a chance to remind everybody of his undoubted quality, in what will be a very competitive league this season.

Best of luck and we wish you every success this season, Jacob. Your time to shine! #FutureIsJacob
